Perfekt place to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city and relax in nature. The room was large and spacious (Family room) We loved the Aesthetic interior in the rooms and outside. Enjoyed a great time at the beach (at low tide). Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Amazing breakfast, very tasty food… we loved the Tuna steak.

The stay at Zan View Hotel was an amazing experience. View to the ocean from the 1st floor is amazing, the food is delicious, however, the best part of this object is its staff, especially the manager Frank :) Highly recommand !

I stayed 6 nights in Zanzibella all alone and almost didn’t leave the hotel because that’s how good it was! I had a nice peaceful garden view out of my room. I had breakfast every morning and for me it was enough options not to get tired of it for 6 days ) the pool was just amazing , that’s where I spent most of the time tanning and swimming over to the bar to get a fresh coconut or virgin passion fruit mojito 🥥 the whole hotel area is really large and very instagrammable! I was taking pictures on every corner !
One day I booked a massage and it was one of the best I ever had in my life ☺️ after the massage they let me use the jacuzzi which was just amazing ☺️ in the evenings I also enjoyed laying in the hammock and reading my book 📖
Every evening I had dinner at the hotel , they had a nice variety of food, I mostly went for Italian cuisine and it was delicious (especially tortellini). And by the way, they delivered the food very quickly)
The staff from the receptionist to waiters and housekeeping was all super friendly and helpful ☺️ I also really liked 24/7 security, made me sleep peacefully))
I’m really happy I chose to spend my vacation in this hotel and if you’re looking for a place to forget you have a job and just disconnect, this is the right one 🌴

Kiwengwa is a perfect place to spend time with the family. Exquisit nature, kind people and the best food. Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice. We loved every minute of our stay at Kiwengwa.

I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water.
I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water. The sand was so soft and almost white. I didn't like the hassle on the beach though. It was easier to stay at the hotel to avoid it. But that's not why you visit another country!

Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest.
Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest. That meant fewer people and tranquility which was what I was looking for during that trip. The hotel was also exactly what I need. All the facilities (gym, massage, sports activities) + excellent food at a reasonable cost. And Fatma the day manager was great. A wonderful person and soul

Front Office led by Victor was outstanding and exceeded our expectations
The restaurant and other staff were extremely courteous and helpful in all circumstances.
The Food and Beverager Manager Zablon is a kind and focused man, results oriented.
What I liked the most was the location of room, directly on the sea with a great view
The location of hotel was also good, very close to kiwengwa public beach (5 mins by car) where you can spend the day there as there are many restaurants and bars
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were smiling all the time, very welcoming (Ask for Kashak always, he is such a nice and funny guy)
The food was also great, all the meals tasted so good. The variety of meals and buffets were good and exceeded expectations
Roberta the hotel manager was amazing. she is super nice and we had great conversations with her. the two dogs at the property were the cutest little creatures. very nice garden to chill and relax away from the very busy beach. it is a little oasis.
rooms are very new, beautifully designed and the AC and internet are working great. the rooms are a short walk to the restaurant and the beach. the restaurant is beautiful and there are several sun beds to chill. overall the staff was very friendly.
I loved my stay at Zan View Hotel. The staff was very helpful throughout our journey, always ready to accommodate us and very friendly. The location is perfect for someone looking for a quiet and calm area. I was happy to go through the village to get to the beach, it allowed me to meet wonderful people and to get in touch with the local culture. I booked most of my activities through the hotel and it went very well.
I would gladly stay there again if I ever go back to Zanzibar!
Our 3 night stay in white dream was perfect. It is a small intimate hotel, beautifully designed and the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The pool is a big plus as the tide is sometimes capricious. Restaurant was very good and the menu offered various choices, we ended up having all of our meals there. We were not sure about staying in kiwengwa because the beaches are not as dreamy as in Nungwi or Paje but we did not regret for a second our stay in this peaceful haven.
We were the first guest in this hotel. All the staff and the owners were very kind ,friendly and unbelievably polite and helpful. The pool was with amazing view to the ocean ,extremely clean and there was a great bar inside the pool. Our room was very spacious and very clean. The food in the restaurant was definitely the best in Zanzibar. The breakfast was also the best in Zanzibar with plenty of food.We definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you Zanzibella for the great time !
I think it is the first time that I give a hotel 10/10 and full in every category. This little boutique beach hotel is a hidden paradise in Kiwenga on the east coast of Sansibar. The owners are very friendly, make everything possible and created their own little home. There are only a few rooms, so it is very exclusive. Breakfast was a selection of different elements and it was delicious. So, if you want to leave the stress behind and simply relax: go for Boho Boutique.
everything was more than perfect! the staff, the food varieties, the breakfast was super, Nestroy the F&B manager was the highlight of our stay , super nice and fun to be around, he made sure everything we wish for is there for us.
the room was spacious and super clean, the activities at night were much so fun.
the front desk team and the hotel management are so considerate and keen to make every single guest happy!
thank you for making our vacation a dreamy one ❤️
Excellent property and Alice from the Zanzibar Houses Office management was very easy to deal with. Suleyman was accessible throughout the stay and Sule (the stay-in security guy) was also respectful of our requests for privacy as a family. Rahmah the cleaning lady was amazing and the property was super clean everyday. Chef was also accommodating of our requests and made some excellent pancakes. If you like sunsets, it is a dream come true! :-)
The Melia Zanzibar is a good hotel without direct access to the beach
The staff is perfect.
But we can't consider this a 5 star hotel.
The breakfast is poor.
The is no beach access.
The decoration is old and not appropriate for a 5 star hotel.
We asked an upgrade for the Melia The Level and there you can consider has a 5 star hotel but the food and breakfast once again is too poor for the price.
I would return because of the staff.
We liked that the hotel was very clean and safe, by far the best location we visited in Zanzibar. Our room was very cozy, comfortable bed and nice private patio! The staff is great and very helpful with resort issues and also with organizing transfer! Very good prices for everything and good value. The private beach is well furnished with many swings, perfect to relax and for beautiful photos, especially the swing in the ocean.
We liked to stay at this place. The chef is very nice and the food is amazing. We stayed on Zanzibar for 3 weeks (in more than 5 hotels) and here we had the best food. Also the time for getting the food was compared to the rest of Zanzibar high speed:)
The hotel itselfe is not directly at the beach, but has a private beach in 2min walking distance. In general, I would say that this hotel is perfect for families.
The property was beyond my expectation, The staff were pleasant, food was delicious, I liked the pool and the beach and SPA. Marta the Hotel Manager was really on top of everything she was really a people person and made all the guest really feel home. one more thing I loved the size of the room and balcony.. I really enjoyed my time Zanzibella and definitely I will be back again 😍
It is a great place for relaxation. The staff are exceptional, of all the hotels I’ve been at Zanzibar, I never had such a wonderful encounter with the staff. The owner, Virginia, had been very accommodating and considerable. Check out time is 11am but she considered our request to stay until 2pm. Very good buffet breakfast to start the day.
The resort has an amazing private beach and the ocean in Kiwengwa is beautiful. My room had the perfect ocean view.
Food was absolutely delicious, the local chefs did a very good job.
I also had a massage.. the lady has magic hands.
The owners are very friendly and they make sure you are happy with everything.
I liked that the beach was accessible and there is a large swimming pool. The breakfast included in the booking was buffet style and had a lot of variety. There were also activities such as aqua gym etc. The hotel also has turn down service which was great. The restaurant and chef at the beach restaurant were great.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Great food with fresh ingredients and something for everyone on the menu (including veggie options). You can walk from the hotel to Kiwengwa without ever leaving the beach, or to Pongwe in the opposite direction if you have a bit more time and the tide is out.
Very beautiful hotel in a calm and less touristic area of Zanzibar! We had the top floor room with sea view for our honeymoon and we were amazed! The staff is also very helpful and caring, they even came to our room in the evenings to spay for mosquitos and fix the net of the bed!
I loved everything about this beautiful little pearl in Zanzibar. Amazing beautiful, clean hotel, amazing staff, wonderful food, everything was perfect. we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! thank you <3
