Neddys rest was very clean, it had everything you needed in there, we loved the fire pit.
It was so peaceful, nice to get away from everything.
10 minutes walk to the wine vineyard and 15 minutes walk to the pub which had amazing food.
We loved waking up to the animals outside, the view was amazing

Visiting the abbey and the guide was both informative and amusing. Good town with parking and shops and eateries. Easy to get to the coastal areas. We liked Bexhill on sea. Historic and interesting town of Battle, 1066 - 1115! Don’t miss St Mary’s Church close to the Abbey on the main High Street, worth an visit! Abundance of tourist, okay that’s expected in mid August. Great for walkers and dogs, most places very welcoming with dogs including bowls of water and sometimes dig biscuits! Interesting High Street with a variety of shops and restaurants. Absolutely beautiful surroundings , swimming pool, it is not heated . Not a problem I really enjoyed swimming in it. You would not be able to walk into the town of Battle , it would be too far. We found the dinner menu far to expensive for us. So we drove to Battle and had fish and chips. The following evening we went into Bexhill. Battle is a very quaint town steeped in history.
Battle is a very quaint town steeped in history. We had a lovely, calm and peaceful stay. Close to Hastings and Wylands farm which has a great farm shop with amazing bacon, chicken and cakes at good prices. Will definitely be back.

We were welcomed with a nice and delicious carrot cake in the kitchen and even some fresh milk in the fridge. The apartment was the cleanest one we ever had and the interior is super sweet and cosy. We felt super comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this apartment for everybody who visits the area and we will definitely return next year!JulienGermany

Only one person was on when we checked in which seemed very strange but otherwise she dealt with us quickly and efficiently. The 'hotel' was clean and the bedroom comfortable with a large ensuite shower room. The views from the room overlooked the beautiful garden area and on a sunny day were absolutely lovely. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed it very much.
