Quietly situated in one of Cirencester’s oldest streets, this delightful, privately owned hotel and restaurant is just 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre.

The staff were all personable and helpful. The location was handy, just a short stroll to the centre. The outside garden was nice for drinks and eating.

I liked the location and the bed was fantastic. Wellness slippers were included which was great, because of the carpet in the room.
Located in a 17th century town house, The Old Brewhouse is a charming and characterful bed and breakfast. Free parking is possible on site, and free Wi-Fi is accessible in certain areas.

Lovely old town with plenty of shops, particularly individual, local shops. Good place to walk around and plenty of eating places and coffee shops to take a break. Great history around the town from Roman times. Unfortunately we didn't have time to investigate all the places of interest. A particular place to mention was Sudeley Castle which was an absolute gem.

Cirencester has almost everything a visitor would want from a market town including a Saturday food and produce outside market and a arts and crafts indoor market. This is alongside many high street chain shops as well as small independent shops. There are many restaurants, wine bars and pubs as well to choose from covering all sorts if tastes and preferences.

There is an interesting mix of shops, arts arts and crafts, parkland, cafes and historical sites. The church is beautiful inside and is worth a revisit to take it all in. The historical buildings from different centuries side by side give it character and is a surprise each time you walk through an alley or turn a corner.
The food sold on the farmers market is a good quality and mix and the craft market is also high quality.
We will be revisitng.

The market square, overlooked by St John's church - 'the cathedral of the Cotswolds' is very beautiful. The church is staggering - very large and ornate - an architectural jewel. Parking in town was easy enough (April, Easter holidays).
The market outside the church (we were there on a Friday morning) was small but all of the stalls were interesting, with very high-quality fish, vegetables and bakery.
We ate well at our hotel, the Stratton House just out of town on the Gloucester Road.

Have never known a town with so many shopping arcades.
Have never known a town with so many shopping arcades.
Also a good market in the square on Friday & Saturday, a good variety of stalls.
The Corinium Museum showing the towns Roman past is well worth a visit.
A very friendly welcome from our hosts Anne and David who couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. Our room had the benefit of it's own entrance away from the Pub. Whilst quite small it was very nicely furnished, the bed was comfortable and the facilities all that you would expect. We had an excellent freshly cooked breakfast on the second morning. The Inn is situated just a short walk from the town centre which is a perfect place to sample the Cotswold experience. All in all a lovely place to stay. Thank You.
The hotel breakfast - fresh fruit was very nice, the cooked breakfast wasn't very hot at all. Nice selection of pastries and coffees/teas though.
Location was good - the town of Cirencester is less than 15 mins drive away and there was a bus service just outside the hotel on main road.
Dog friendly lots of poop bins and dog station washes to use.
The spa swimming pool was nice.
Friendly and good staff.
We went out of season so some of the nearby and on site restuarants were closed during our visit.
THE SPA!!! Management were good and willing to assist in small requests stuff as from the bar. Breakfast was a buffet but depending on how much you could eat would determine if it was value for money however they did provide got food alongside a continental breakfast. Shower pressure was good too. Location was ideal for a drive throughout Cotswolds and a walk into Cirencester. Mattress was firm. The lounge area was a great place to wind down before returning to the room too.
We stayed in a suite for my birthday and it was a fantastic experience all round. Room was huge with a balcony overlooking the water and was brilliant value. The staff were very kind, complimentary champagne on arrival with delicious chocolates & complimentary cocktails with our dinner. They also allowed for to check in earlier so could enjoy the hotel longer. The surrounding areas are stunning! Went on such a beautiful walk by the water. Thanks again for having us!
Breakfast was lovely. Felt like we were at home with our family. Lovely old building, lots of winding corridors - beautiful. Room was fine too. Staff very accommodating when we arrived early and needed to drop off our bags. Thank you. Staff were also very friendly and attentive at breakfast. The beds were very comfy. We came to Cirencester for a wedding, I think we will be coming back for a more leisurely visit in the not too distant future.
This boutique hotel was truly a delight to stay at. We are already looking for excuses to return. We had their simple double rooms which were beautifully set up and cosy. Breakfast was a wonderful treat and we ate in the hotel restaurant which was also excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the shower which was large with plentiful hot water - much needed after our day spending wading the Thames Path.
The hotel is beautiful and in a great location! It is a 10 minute walk into the historic town centre, and not far from the Cotswold Wildlife Park (which is a must). The hotel itself is small & old but it is lovely, the facilities are good - the spa seems overpriced but we still had a nice massage. The food is good, and the rooms were large and comfortable.
We had our dog with us and we were restricted from eating a number of the hotels venues. We did have breakfast but had to sit in the lounge nearest the entrance. The breakfast room was self service and seemed understaffed there were tea and coffee machines and buffet style food counters , no staff spoke as they were all rushed off there feet
The hotel is absolutely lovely, possibly one of the nicest I have ever stayed at. Everything is beautifully designed and even though it is new, it fits in perfectly with the Cotswolds surroundings. Very dog friendly as well with little treats in the room and vegan friendly as well.
Lovely outside area with a path to walk the dogs.
I would not usually choose to stay at an expensive hotel but for a special occasion this hotel is good value for money. It is quietly understated welcoming, and cosy with excellent staff who go out of their way to make your stay the best ... special mention for Andy the gardiner who told us all about his chickens.
Very homely, excellent communication from
Property owner without being intrusive. Very accommodating so adjusted our stay to stay a week and a half longer. Close to Cirencester Town Centre (10 minute walk) with other amenities close by. Highly recommend this property
Very nice place to stay when you want to spend some time in Cotswolds. Great location of the hostel - right in the town centre. Kitchen has all necessary stuff. Neat, clean and minimalist, my room was small but that's all I needed. I felt safe and welcome.
Excellent breakfast with plenty of options
Lovely room with excellent facilities and nice shower
Pub is very cosy and comfortable
Only a 10 minute drive to Cirencester
Great for couples
Friendly waitresses at breakfast and evening meal
Super delightful hosts, excellent facilities and a great range of breakfast choices. (Scrambled eggs and salmon amazing!).
The home was in Ewen, very close to Cirencester town - perfect Cotswold location to discover other beautiful villages.
I found the owners very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was too much for me. I felt bad not eating it all. The Guest house was a very short walk to the centre of town. If I return to Cirencester I would stay again.
The staff were exceptional. They were polite, friendly, helpful and efficient.
Rooms were very clean and on a particularly cold weekend they were very warm.
The hotel was very centrally located in Market Square
