The evening meals in the restaurant were well-prepared and nicely presented, not big portions. Helpful and friendly front-of-house staff. Very accommodating thank you to them, the staff were a great advert for the island. The bed was fine and big and the bed room furniture was good, not so the rest of the suite.

Clean, comfortable room with lovely view of the Solent. Trouble free checking in with plenty of information for our stay. Many delicious choices for breakfast and although we didn't use the mini bar and thoughtful extras, we were very impressed. Never had hair straighteners before in a room, thank you.

Lovely little place, we enjoyed our walks around the area...
Lovely little place, we enjoyed our walks around the area and relaxing and watching the boats etc. Very easy to get to, loads of eateries and pubs. If you like Yachts and boats then you will be in heaven, but even if you dont theres still plenty to keep you occupied. Its also very easy to move around the island from Cowes whether you drive or use the bus service.

I know Cowes well because my mother in law lived there so...
I know Cowes well because my mother in law lived there so for many years I regularly visited her and stayed in the town. Since she died I have not visited as often and hadn't been to the Isle of Wight for two years until I stayed this autumn. It was a quick visit, but the shops in Cowes and the waterfront areas and town beaches are always interesting. I wouldn't stay quite as late in the year again as many places shut at the end of October or by early November, and if they're not shut completely they can be quiet and shut early (eg some of the out of town shops). Even the Cowes shops were beginning to wind down about 4pm on the Saturday and there weren't many people about. So do go but the warmer months and early autumn are probably better as there's more going on and there are more options. We ate at Mojac's and the Pier Inn, both excellent places for evening meals. The Pier Inn is also a pub but has a separate dining area. It was nice to go in pubs and for them not to be crowded but they do shut bang on 11pm.

Easy access to Osborne House in East Cowes.
Easy access to Osborne House in East Cowes. Really worth a visit! The island is very small and so one can drive round it and see lots each day.. Everywhere on the island is less than 35 minutes from Cowes (in October). Lots of good restaurants in Cowes.

We love the Isle of Wight. Beautiful island and I feel so safe there. We ate at The Coast which we thoroughly recommend. Tremendous atmosphere.
When we didn't use our car we used a local taxi who were brilliant and never let us down.

We enjoyed our visit although as it was the Isle of Wight...
We enjoyed our visit although as it was the Isle of Wight Festival during our visit traffic queues and road closures were in abundance. We spent a lovely day at the Big Cat sanctuary which was fairly empty making it a good opportunity to see the cats and talk to the keepers who are all so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Great visit. There are lots of shopping facilities, great views and lovely little hamlets and places to visit around the island. The park we stayed in was peaceful but had easy access to Cowes and to the ferry port. Friendly people and we enjoyed great weather.
The bedroom was clean with all facilities needed. Great choice for breakfast, which was superbly cooked. Staff very friendly and helpful. Owner Margaret made the stay, showing interest in our plans and offering excellent suggestions for things to see and do and places to eat - really brilliant insider knowledge that added many positive experiences to our stay. The hotel has some lovely features, an interesting history and wonderful views of The Solent. Will certainly stay there again should I revisit the Isle of Wight.
Although the room is a little dated, with woodchip on the wall (🎶) it is exceptionally clean. Everything you need is there. There are plenty of hand sanitizers dotted about the property.
I had actually walked around the island and stayed at various B&B's and campsites. Of all the places I stayed at, Watch House Barn was the best night's sleep I had. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. For the price as well, I would happily stay there again.
Lovely pub with bar and terrace looking right out over the Solent. Situated at the quieter end of the Cowes esplanade. Plenty of parking and easy access to Cowes town.
Comfortable room with Solent view. Great bar food and live music.
Fabulous breakfast!
Staff were excellent and everything was great.
Highly recommended for an Isle of Wight weekend or holiday.
Barbara did some changes in the room setup which I didn't ask for ahead - many thanks! The attitude, the breakfast - just like being a guest of the family. It's also a short walking distance from the center and the Cowes Yacht Haven. A very comfortable and clean room, with a very nice shower and bathroom outside the room (but still private).
The location was great for just walking down into Cowes for shopping and evening meals out. Breakfast was really lovely and there was a great choice, pancakes were the best we’ve had anywhere! Room was really spacious and really appreciated the little touches of fresh fruit in the room, water and Kit Kats to go with the tea and coffee!
1. Fully Equipped with all the amenities.
2. Very very clean and comfortable beddings.
3. Fully functional Kitchen.
4. Car parking space.
5. Tranquil surrounding. So no hush hush of market place.
6. Indoors games were cherry on the top.
7. Prompt response from Jenny for all the queries.
8. Easy check-in and check out
We loved the house and the fresh decor throughout house was beautifully done. The house was spacious and the beds were all very comfortable. The location was great for walking into Cowes and we definitely made the most of the fabulous garden. Great communication throughout, we would definitely return.
We really enjoyed staying at this accommodation. The check in was really well thought through. Everything was very smooth. The room was really comfortable with beautiful decor. The breakfast was delicious. It felt really professional and like a little boutique hotel. Lovely sea view as well!
The hotel has everything you would want when having a few days away. In the heart of Cowes and the main strip, and the Solent.
The decor so welcoming and great restaurant and outside amenities, bikes, heated pool.
The best breakfast I have ever had, very professional and welcoming staff.
Good sized apartment. Very central, 2 min from the red-jet ferry from Southampton!!. I needed a space where I could stay without any fuss or problems to relax on a business trip and this place worked perfectly. It was very clean, very good standard throughout.
The accommodation gave us more than enough space. It was nice to have the summer house as an extra sitting space.
Location to be able to walk into Cowes was perfect.
Contact we had with the hosts was very responsive.
The location of this hotel is excellent, right in the centre of Cowes. Had a lovely dinner in the restaurant followed by a great breakfast in the morning. The staff are are extremely friendly and helpful too.
The staff was really friendly, my partner had to do some work during her stay and they provided her space for it even after our checkout. I'm really happy with the service and certainly will be back there.
Lovely surroundings and very dog friendly. Basic amenities provided on arrival. Good communication from the hosts. Good access to everywhere else on the island. Oven and fridge in good condition.
It was close to town and the seafront. It felt like a ‘safe place’ as I was familiar with The Union. I have eaten and drank many many times as I live in Cowes.
