We really liked our room. Spacious, well equipped and clean. Perfect for access to the spa. Enormous bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Plenty of towels and shower gel etc. Coffee and tea making facilities and also iron/board. Air-conditioning also handy as weather quite warm during our stay. Spa was very nice with pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Plenty of sun beds indoor and out. Lovely changing facilities with all amenities.

The Pomme D'Or Hotel is perfectly placed (50 meters from main bus station) for using the efficient and frequent bus services to all parts of the Island. An easy walk out to the best parts of St Helier. For extra special fish meal Quayside restaurant is just across the road. Not cheap but superb food in a lovely room/terrace. Just a perfect place to be in Jersey.

Easy access for all of Jersey from the 10 minute bus station. Beach and cafe within 5 minutes walk. Elizabeth Castle and the Marina view from our room and to the left was the stunning beach. Very interesting and necessary history all round to learn about the hardships of the Island over the years and how they have prospered since. Loads of lovely restaurants for a variety of choice. Get a 1, 2 or 3 day bus pass and just hop on and off when a place takes your fancy!

It was so clean and there were plenty of amazing shops, restaurants and bars. We were lucky to be there for Liberation Day which was amazing. You don't actually need a car as everything in the town is in easy walking distance and the buses take you all around the Island from the centre of town. Everyone we came across was friendly and the atmosphere in town was warm and welcoming. The only down side is that they still operate Sunday closing where almost all the shops are closed. The place was deserted. We made the mistake of eating at Bohemia which is a Michelin starred restaurant. Not only super expensive but utterly pretentious and the staff were particularly rude. St Helier isn't a cheap place but we had a lovely meal at Aromas and The Oyster Box in St Brelades Bay. The Island is small so all the places are easily accessible by taxi or for those fit enough by bicycle. There was plenty to occupy children too.

I hadn't considered what to expect in Jersey but was pleasantly surprised. The island is beautiful with a very laid-back feel to it. St Helier is the perfect size to walk around with plenty of places to eat and drink, and nice quality shops. It has the feel of a nice country town. Be aware that most restaurants close around 9.00pm so don't get caught out! The bus from outside the airport took us straight to the town and it is easy to travel around the island from the bus station in St Helier. Helpful staff and a choice of bus tickets for longer stays. We took an afternoon tour around the island which helped us decide which areas we wanted to visit again. We visited in spring so the blossoms were out, and Jersey has the most beautiful vast beaches. Friendly and helpful people everywhere we went which added to the experience.

We are and not happy with the cost of the room at the hotel. We needed a room with a walk in shower and the room originally booked had shower over the bath and would have been difficult to get into. The hotel had nothing to offer comparable to what we had booked; large room with pool view. We ended up in a small room with no view and when we came to pay the bill were chafrged us the higher rate for the room. Since arriving home we have contacted the hotel who will not refund the difference in cost. We feel totally ripped off.

Good position as close to the town Centre. On bus route.Across the road from the tidal pool and beach. Clean rooms and bathrooms.Typical hotel room. Friendly and very helpful staff. We had a room facing the back overlooking the carpark. It was nice and quiet. The sea facing rooms are on the main road so thinking they might be noisy. We enjoyed swimming in the pool although the area was a bit neglected.

Hotel\Room : 8\10 - we always compare the shower to our own and ours was superior so the hotel lose 1 point - the hotel is grand and we loved the elegant ambience even though we believe we were dispatched to what was the servant quarters with no view - lose another point. Food : 9/10 - breakfast was excellent as was dinner although a little overpriced - lose a point

We were warmly welcomed and everything was explained to us. The proprietor showed us to our room carrying my wife's case. The hotel while a little old fashioned was spotless and safe distancing was practised and so we felt very safe. Excellent location 10 minutes walk from town centre and we just had to cross the road to the Lido and beach.
