I love how friendly the staff was and always willing to assist to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The request for massage was so fulfilling in the comfort of our room.

the view is amazing, lots of space and calm atmosphere, the food was great, very clean and comfortable! The complimentary boat ride was wonderful too!

The lodges and breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. It was peaceful and very relaxing.

The stay and everything surrounding it was fantastic..Us as a couple were treated by everybody with such kindness and fell weel at home. Will definitely recommend it for a get away from the daily hustle and bustle..special thanx to everybody for a wonderful weekend..

I am admittedly biased, since the original house was designed and built in 1960 by my frandfather Casper Krüger, great-grandson of the legendary Paul Krüger, which the present owners have subsequently converted into the 4-star Kassaboera lodge. Having grown up here, several of my cousins and I recently used the occasion of a family reunion to return to this grand old home to rekindly fond memories, wondering if the intervening 60 years had altered any of our recollections at all. What a pleasant surprise it was to discover that the present owners, Manie and Amanda, have done an excellent job here in the restoration of this special place! All the charm of the original house remains, with the high, thatched roof and spacious interior, but now with modern luxuries and conveniences added, such as the beautiful swimming pool and lovely gardens. From here it is still possible to undertake long, leisurely strolls along the lake. Now I am happy in the thought that this remains one of my favorite places on earth.

It was a awesome experience. The layout of the cottage was a great idea. Spending time around the fire pit was very nice. It really feels like staying in a jungle. Stunning place for relaxing. Staff where very helpful and friendly.
